Listen carefully and follow the instructions of the master of letters!

To follow specific instructions.

The adult prepares

  • 1 baseplate

  • 5 bricks: A, B, C, D, E

Line the bricks up in random order on the baseplate.

The children play

1

The players take turns to give instructions to their friend, such as:
– Point to the letter B with your index finger

2

– Pick up the letter C.

– Replace the letter B by the letter C.

3

– Attach the letter B in the right top corner of the base plate.

4

– Attach the letter C on top of the letter B.

Facilitation tips

  • Suggest the players create other instructions: ‘take a letter and put it on your head’ / ‘under the table’ etc.

  • Increase the number of players (but make sure there is an adult to check the answers).

  • Change the number of letters.

  • Ask the children themselves to select the letters they want to play with.
