The Sandwich
Choose your ingredients and make a delicious sandwich!

To recognise and track letters in a row.
To follow specific instructions.
1 baseplate
5 bricks: A, B, C, D, E
Line the bricks up in random order on the baseplate.

The players take turns to give instructions to their friend, such as:
– Point to the letter B with your index finger

– Pick up the letter C.
– Replace the letter B by the letter C.

– Attach the letter B in the right top corner of the base plate.

– Attach the letter C on top of the letter B.
Suggest the players create other instructions: ‘take a letter and put it on your head’ / ‘under the table’ etc.
Increase the number of players (but make sure there is an adult to check the answers).
Change the number of letters.
Ask the children themselves to select the letters they want to play with.
