1 bag
a selection of 5 pairs of bricks:
2A, 2B, 2C, 2L, 2X
the equal “=” brick to be the Donkey
Place the 11 bricks in the bag.
1
Taking turn, both players take all the bricks out of the bag and place them in a row on their baseplates, leaving a space between each brick.
2
They look for pairs among their bricks and place them on the table.
3
On their turn, player asks their opponent, how many bricks they have. Then they ask for a specific one, for example: “Give me number 2! “
If the player can form a pair with the brick received, they place it on the table.
If not, they attach it to their baseplate.

The game ends when all pairs have been made. The brick that cannot be paired is the Donkey!
Suggest players choose a brick and hold it in one hand while they look for matches with the
other hand.
4 players: play with 10 pairs of bricks.
The bricks suggested for the activity are chosen for ease in tactile discrimination and recognition.
Match 5 bricks with 5 braille flash cards to create pairs, adding in the Donkey card (a 6-dot cell). Players pick flashcards from each other trying to make pairs with their bricks.
